With all these foodie things going on this weekend to celebrate World Vegetarian Day we thought the ideal way to round out the celebrations by getting out for a walk, some fresh air and beautiful views of the sea. And then have more food! If a refreshing cliff walk sounds appealing then why not join us on Sunday morning for a little hike from Bray to Greystones.

To mark World Vegetarian Day 2010 we're having a Pot Luck in Exchange Dublin on Saturday, 2nd October. Everyone attending is invited to bring a dish to share. We hope to also have a small bring-and-buy cake sale at it.
Everyone is welcome, including families.
This is an no-alcohol event, but if people would like to stay around after we could go to a nearby pub.

World Vegetarian Day is observed annually on October 1st. It is a day of celebration established by the North American Vegetarian Society in 1977 and endorsed by the International Vegetarian Union in 1978, "To promote the joy, compassion and life-enhancing possibilities of vegetarianism." It brings awareness to the ethical, environmental, health and humanitarian benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle.
