From abolitionists to welfarists, Bold Native takes on the issue of modern animal use and exploitation from several angles within the context of a road movie adventure story. After 3 successful screenings in Ireland, ALiberation will be showing this movie again. This time AR activists will host a Q & A afterwards via Skype about their involvement in the Animal Rights movement. This will be followed by vegan food and an after-party.
Garden Of Remembrance, O'Connell Street entrance, 1pm
Details from ARAN: Cruelty to animals in Ireland is on the rise. Irish legislation to protect animals has and is failing animals on a grand scale. On Sunday, August 26th we need you to join hundreds of kind, caring people for a peaceful ARAN 'National March and Rally Against Cruelty to Animals' 2012 in Dublin - where we'll peacefully march through the main streets with our message 'There's no excuse for animal abuse'. Looking away, leaving it to someone else or just speaking words will do nothing to stop this growing problem.
Participants will learn how to prepare easy, wholesome vegan, tasty and affordable food.
Price: suggested donation is 10 euro
