The Vegetarian Society of Ireland is celebrating the 2013 Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale on Saturday 20th April 2013. We invite you to join us at Exchange Dublin in Temple Bar. The proceeds will be divided equally between the Vegetarian Society of Ireland and the Donkey Sanctuary. 
We are looking for people to donate vegan baked goods as well as volunteers to help on the day. If you are interested in helping, please contact: bakesale [at] vegetarian [dot] ie

Details from ARAN: Cruelty to animals in Ireland is on the rise. Irish legislation to protect animals has and is failing animals on a grand scale. On Sunday, August 26th we need you to join hundreds of kind, caring people for a peaceful ARAN 'National March and Rally Against Cruelty to Animals' 2012 in Dublin - where we'll peacefully march through the main streets with our message 'There's no excuse for animal abuse'. Looking away, leaving it to someone else or just speaking words will do nothing to stop this growing problem.
