Coastal walk from Bray to The Happy Pear, Greystones

Venue:
Bray

With all these foodie things going on this weekend to celebrate World Vegetarian Day we thought the ideal way to round out the celebrations by getting out for a walk, some fresh air and beautiful views of the sea. And then have more food! If a refreshing cliff walk sounds appealing then why not join us on Sunday morning for a little hike from Bray to Greystones.
This was one of our first Meetups back in March 2008 and seems like a nice way to celebrate World Vegetarian Day. If you've not done this walk before it's about 7km long and takes 1.5 to 2 hours at a relaxed pace. After working up an appetite we can look forward to some gorgeous veggie food at The Happy Pear on our arrival in Greystones. (VSI members, please bring your membership card as The Happy Pear will give you a 5% discount.) And if you're not too stuffed after our meal we'll head off again on foot to Bray. For the less hardy (!) there is the DART back. Please pack a rain jacket and waterproof pants if you have them and some water to drink. Wear comfortable walking shoes or trainers - be warned, the path can be muddy in places. The walk is quite safe but we cannot be liable if you chase sea gulls off the cliff and end up in the sea! You are responsible for your own safety. (We have to have that just in case.) For more details about the event and how to RSVP, please check our Meetup Group - details below.
